The overall framework involves a series of steps for investigation, building, implementation, and evaluation, while the precise method will differ from institution to institution.

4 CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT PROCESSES:

1. Planning – understanding how people for utilizing the data and the consequences of the data obtained. Techniques for identifying the gaps between knowledge and practice, trends emerging from the data, a strategy for categorizing needs, and the identification of target audience characteristics all are addressed.
2. Content and Methods – The following phase is to clarify and restate the issue, if needed, and design the intended outcomes or educational objectives after the issue has indeed been defined, the curriculum team has been established, and the needs have indeed been assessed, analyzed, and prioritized. What the learner will be able to do as a result of participation in curriculum activities is described in an intended outcome.
3. Implementation – Without planning, it is doubtful that newly developed curriculum products will be effectively implemented. In this step, strategies for using it and marketing the curriculum are discussed.
4. Evaluation and Reporting – This stage discusses evaluation techniques and provides simple procedures to get accurate and reliable results. An example evaluation format is provided along with a series of questions to help lead the summative evaluation process.

Curriculum development is important to boost an economy. It also provides a solution to some of the most urgent issues facing the globe today, such as those related to the environment, politics, socioeconomics, and other issues like poverty, climate change, and sustainable development.
